Responsibilities: - Administrative and personal care of Director's office - Assistance with marketing and advertising of new law office - Control of the agenda, coordinating meetings and consultations with clients, event organization, and travel logistics - Screening calls - Some recordkeeping - Handling, packaging, and delivering of mail - Client care and support - Billing and petty cash -Weekly report to management regarding accomplished goals
Necessary Skills: - Must be very organized and have an attitude of service - Familiarity with the Houston area and its immigrant communities - Honesty - Ability to handle confidential information - Have a clean image - Well-spoken - Have own transport (with auto insurance and valid driver's license) - Clean record. If elected for employment, we will check your criminal history.
Salary: - $12 per hour - The chosen candidate must have ITIN or Social Security number for taxes (Form 1099). - In some projects, mileage will be paid at $0.50/mile.
Hours: 20 hours a week. Tuesday to Friday, 10am-3pm. You may be required to work some Sundays. Saturdays are always free.
Duration of Employment: Trial period of two months, with the possibility of becoming a permanent position (and maybe full-time).
